Moroccan Government Scholarship 2025 [Fully Funded]

The scholarship awards a bi-monthly living stipend of 1750 Moroccan Dirhams, about USD 175, to subsidise your living costs, paid twice a month through the Banque Central Populaire system upon showing your passport. The stipend is for 12 months per year, September to August, and is dependent on your regular school attendance. In addition, the scholarship covers two one-way air fares one for your arrival in Morocco at the start of your program and one for your return home at the end of your studies and insurance protection. Note, however, that this stipend does not cover registration fees, accommodation, local transport, or other study costs, which are your obligation.

What are the benefits of the Moroccan Government Scholarship Programme 2025-26?

You'll get 1750 Moroccan Dirhams monthly, which is approximately $175 USD. This is a living allowance to cover your daily expenses.
The scholarship covers two one-way air tickets, one to bring you to Morocco at the start of your program and the other to take you back home after you've finished studying.
You'll also be insured.
This stipend does not include your registration fees, housing, local transport, or any other expenses related to your studies. You are liable for these costs.
The stipend is for 12 months a year.
You receive payments every two months via the Banque Central Populaire system. You need to produce your passport to pick up your stipend at any Banque Populaire office.
Your payments of your stipend are subject to your consistent attendance at school.

What are the eligibility criteria for the Moroccan Government Scholarship?

You should be 19-23 years old.
You should have passed the CAPE Associate Degree in 2024 with a Grade A or B, or be expected to pass the same degree in 2025.
You should have performed well academically in your previous two semesters of study.
For Master's Degrees You should have a bachelor's degree in the field you wish to study.
Your outcome must indicate a 1st Class or 2nd Class ranking, or you require an equivalent recognized diploma with a satisfactory academic record.
For PhD Degrees You require a graduate degree in your proposed course or an equivalent recognized higher education diploma qualifying you for the course.
If applying for a Master's or PhD, you must state your proposed course and university when making your application.
Applications that fulfill the basic admission requirements will be submitted to the corresponding university's scientific committees for examination.
In a few instances, your ultimate registration in a Moroccan university or higher learning institution may depend on submitting a certificate of equivalence for your diploma.

Copies of your 1st and 2nd year CAPE or Associate Degree, vetted.
Official transcript from your post-secondary education.
Your birth certificate.
Copy of your national ID card.
Copy of the biodata page of your passport.
One recent police clearance record.
A public health department medical certificate. Your physical and mental health, vaccination, and that you do not have any contagious, acute, or pandemic diseases such as tuberculosis should be confirmed by this document.
Your university diploma.
Official university diploma transcripts.
A study curriculum document detailing your past degrees.
Your Master's dissertation/thesis.
Your draft doctoral thesis project.

How to apply Moroccan Government Scholarship?

You will be sent a Letter of Information Convocation through diplomatic means. This letter will be directly to you and will outline your scholarship terms, training details, and all the information you need regarding your study sojourn in Morocco.
You're required to apply for your visa at the Moroccan Embassy in Saint Lucia.
It's important that you report to AMCI within the stated period. Failure to do so will have your application withdrawn.
Your presence on the ground in Morocco represents your ultimate confirmation of the scholarship offer. You should be advised that the offer is irrevocable, and you cannot ask to modify your program of study or institution upon accepting it.
Upon your arrival, you'll be required to submit your Letter of Information/Convocation at the AMCI Guichet Unique. This is where you'll register, finish up your scholarship information, and take out the insurance policy.
Following your AMCI formalities, you will go to the university/higher institute assigned to you to finish up registration.
Provide a certified copy of your registration certificate from your university/higher institute to AMCI.
